EXCELENTE. Con ellos SI. Con Paddywagon NUNCA!!! Never!!
Y no explican nadaaaa!!!

Absolutely delighted with this tour company. Great service, took in some great sights. My mother-in-law went with them recently and had a great time. She mislaid an earring in one of the B&Bs and Paddywagon not alone went out of their way to get the earring back for her, but wouldn’t accept any money for the postage. They really take customer satisfaction seriously, can recommend 100%.

These tours are all about understanding what you are really getting. If you want a tour that you stay in 4+ star hotels, don’t have to interact and wait on other people or have your own personal timeline for experiencing things, then this is not for you. That being said my wife and I loved our tour! We felt there was ample time at each stop and the BnB’s selected were sufficient for us as it’s just a place to lay your heads. Our driver Vincent was a blast, super knowledgeable and knew all the best spots to get amazing pictures. I suggest these tours to everyone as a great way to see Ireland without the worry of making reservations or trying to find all the good spots and certainly without having to drive!

This tour is suitable for all age groups - (you need to have an average level of fitness and ability to move your own bags around). We were a bit worried as we are in the 55-60 age group and had heard it was only for the young. At night we were dropped off to our accommodation and it's up to you, party or dine then bed. We were always given a range of recommendations for the evening to suit the ages of groups on the bus. Some of the younger travelers (20+s) had a wonderful time checking out the bars and night life. In the evenings we generally walked around the towns - ate, shopped, walked and then headed back to bed by around 10pm. Generally we stayed a 10 minute walk from the main street. The accommodation is B and B and is of a reasonable standard - clean, tidy. We found the breakfasts varied and the time for these varied - which meant some days you are unable to eat early eg 7am and then go for a walk (which is our preference). The driver helped with bags of those who needed it - especially up some of the stairs. As usual there is never enough time at the "big visit places" I guess you wouldn't get anywhere if you stayed all day. We found our driver Vincent had lots information to share with us, it was what we came for an "Irish" experience. He gave us many laughs and kept us awake - no falling asleep. He did a great job thanks for a wonderful introduction to Ireland.
We planned on leaving the tour on the last day at Blarney Castle (via taxi or public bus) and not returning to Dublin. Vincent was really helpful with this and as there were a group of us departing to Cork he ended up dropping us all of by the bus station which was a few minutes out of his way but really appreciated.

Since both my friend and myself decided on stress free travel i.e. no driving, on our own I did fair amount of research on joining short multi days tour.
I came across some negative reviews on the tour but credit to our tour guide Danny from 2nd day to the end (we were switched from another driver), our tour is awesome!
We enjoyed Danny story telling that made us appreciate our one night stay in Annascaul (In Dingle Peninsular). We were concern Annascaul is a super small fishing village but the accommodation (The green building) well exceeded our expectation. We were so thrilled with the spacious, clean and equipped room.
Danny is an excellent driver (the way he maneuver the bus thru narrow road) and guide. He made extra effort to stop at multiple view point for us to appreciate the beauty of Slea head drive. There is one spot he even led us down a slope to let us marvel at the landscape. The beauty of Ireland is beyond words.
Before we arrived every stop/site and along the way, Danny would share the historical background and funny story. We have learned so much about famine wall, background....from Danny.
Best wishes to Danny!

It is unfortunate that what could have been an amazing tour and experience is dampened by the extreme lack of customer service and professionalism experienced by myself and other on our tour.
I recently embarked on the 4 day tour of south western Ireland (Galway, Cliffs of Moher, Kerry, Dingle and Blarney). Top begin with, there is a lack of information provided by Paddywagon in relation to the tour, so I emailed them with multiple questions (baggage allowance, a correct address for pick up etc) and there extremely responsive which was great.
We were met day one by our tour guide/bus driver Tom whom I found to be not overly chatty, which was fine, but given his job was to talk us through the tour and provide commentary – probably not ideal. I would also suggest that, if a commentary wasn’t going to be provided - than turning off his microphone would be a great idea as hearing his heavy breathing through the internal speakers was not ideal either. I did feel sorry for him that after he had done the rounds picking everyone up, he received a call to say that he “missed a pick up” and he had to turn back, resulting is us being delayed by 30-45 minutes. However when we turned up to the “missed pick up” no one was there. Later we found out that the missed pickups were already on the bus – the delay could have simply been avoided if a roll call was made.
The journey for day 1 was fine, after we realised that Tom would not be providing information on what we were seeing etc, Google became a great tool. It was unfortunate that we didn’t arrive into Galway until approx. 6pm and when we arrived at out accommodation the BnB owner had no idea what the room allocations were. It is wroth noting that I had paid for the BnB option PLUS paid an additional amount to have a single room with ensuite as a solo female traveler. It was extremely disappointing to be them placed in a different accommodation to everyone else, 2 houses down and “sharing a house” (own bedrooms) with another solo female on our tour, plus two randoms, one being a male and sharing the same bathroom. Not ideal. I did email Paddywagon about this that night and lols I had no responses despite them being so very responsive before the tour.
Day 2 saw us venture… well I couldn’t really tell you exactly what we did this day because our Bus driver (which is what he shall be known as moving forward given that lack of Tour Guide element) decided to switch the advertised day 2 and day 3 around itineraries with no explanation. The accommodation that night provided in Killarney was fine (although I did hear that other at the other BnB had issues). But it is interesting to note that those who paid for the hostel option were also placed in BnB’s this night and night 3 – so why I paid for the BnB PLUS single supplement to be provide the exact same accommodations as the cheaper Hostel option is interesting.
Day 3 was a shambles. After the drive around the Ring of Kerry, we ended up back in Killarney for an hour and when back on the bus, we asked our Bus Driver Tom what time lunch was (as the pervious day 2 there were so sporadic that you didn’t know when they would be) and he said that it would be at around 3pm in Dingle. Great, at least that’s some form of details. As Tom announces our arrival into Dingle, everyone starts to get there stuff together on the bus on for us to drive through dingle and continue to drive. It wasn’t until we stopped off on the side of the road outside a ramshackle Bee House that Tom said we were going to drive the Dingle Peninsula first and then lunch. Hmm by this stage it was 4pm, but sure, you do you Tom. After the drive, we arrived back in Dingle just after 5pm for lunch…. After this hour stop we drove 20 minute to that nights accommodation and for dinner. No why we couldn’t have had lunch in dingle, done the drive and then straight onto the accommodation is beyond me. Accommodation Night 3 was fine, it was all Paddywagon owned properties and the only rub and food option open was theirs. I tolerated by microwave hated up, watery, Irish stew and enjoyed a night getting to know my fellow travelers as be boned over a joint Paddywagon trauma.
Day 4 was a poetic end to our time with Tom and Paddywagon. We drove to Balrney and had 3 hours here. Which was more then enough time to see the castle, go for a walk around the grounds and have lunch. MORE than enough. As we made our way back to Dublin where we were meant to make a stop at the Rock of Dunamase the buses internal temperature turned into what I can only imagine hell feels like – ironic given our past few days. So we stopped at a Petrol station for Tom to fix the aircon, which he did. We then got back on the bus and as Google maps showed us drove further and further away from the Rock of Dunamase without stopping we made it back to Dublin where I could not have jumped off that bus fast enough.
It is unfortunate that what could have been an amazing tour was ruined by a bus driver who clearly does not enjoy what he does and a company who is only interested in getting your money and then whipping their hands off you afterwards. For those playing along at home – after THREE follow ups to my original email I am still yet to hear anything from Irelands least professional touring company.

Tour was great! We saw the highlights of South/West Ireland. There is a bit of driving time on the bus but it’s a large country so that’s the only way to see as much as possible in a few days. My main advice is to bring a good rain jacket, rain pants, and umbrella. I was so happy I did. Our tour guide Danny was wonderful. One of my favorite things was the horseback ride through the National Park. Even though I was the only one on the tour who wanted to do it, he made it happen for me! The cliffs of Moher were magical and my favorite day was exploring the dingle peninsula.

Great tour! Thoroughly enjoyed the last 3 days of our tour with Vince and Steven. Great commentary and fantastic sense of humour. Absolutely stunning scenery!!
Rooms were simple but comfy and situated in great locations. Great choice with breakfast.
Lost a star as we found the first days tour guide an absolute ...... TripAdvisor won't let me leave a profanity

I'm so glad I booked this group tour! Everyday was really fun, informative and pleasant. 1st day was out of Dublin headed to Galway with JJ as our tour guide/driver. JJ was very friendly and made sure we were having a good time. We stopped at a sheep dog presentation and visited a mine, it was really interesting. Loved learning about the sheep farm and seeing Floss work his sheep.
From day 2-4, we had Dan as our driver/tour guide, he was extremely friendly and sooo informative on everything we were seeing. He made sure we got the great pics to where we can find the best pint! It's hard to choose what was my favorite day but the 3rd day along the wild Atlantic way was so so fun! Every place we stayed was super nice, I had a single room to myself (I paid extra for this) since I was traveling solo. I will be booking the 6 day tour next time and bringing along my parents. Thank you so much JJ and Dan!!! Truly made my first time in Ireland a blast 🙌🏻

This tour was well priced, good accommodation at the Bnb’s, great cities to visit and enough free time to explore the sights

Hi, my flight is due to land at 7.50am in Dublin. How long does it take to get to your Meeting point? I guess I couldn’t make the 8am start time.. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Charlie

I didnt see any limits for weight for the luggage. We will be doing Ireland on the backend of a 2 week trip and have 3 bags. One a checked bag ( under 50lbs) and then 2 other roller bags. Other tours have a weight limit of 40lbs total per person

The accommodations are a bit confusing. If we need a room for 2 adults with a private bath and double bed, which do we choose? We are not Uber picky but would like a nicer clean B&B and not an economy type hotel (if that makes sense). Thank you.

They do say in the description, B&B, Apartments or Budget Hotels... We only stayed in cozy B&Bs. I don't know though, if they always offer the same accommodation.

Does the tour spend the last night in Kilarney? Could we stay at the last stop and continue on and not drive back to Dublin? At what time/day would the bus leave to return to Dublin?

I forget what time they went back to Dublin, but I'd think you can just stay. It was such a good tour. Well worth it!

I land at 7am in Dublin. Would I have enough time to get to meeting point on Wednesday?
Escrita el 20 de septiembre de 2018
Agree with other answer. No, you wouldn’t be able to get there in time. We had to be there at 8:00 and we left soon after.

Hi. What time does the tour end at Dublin?
Escrita el 2 de septiembre de 2018
If I remember correctly we got back to Dublin around 4:00 pm. It wasn’t late and definitely before 5;00.
