We had a great day out in the park with an experienced guide, that managed to find most of the animals in the park.

Diddy was amazing! I told him I would be an easy customer, because I most wanted to see zebras (which remind me of my late mother) and giraffes (my dad’s favorite animal), which are both plentiful in the park. I said it’d be amazing to see the Big Five, especially elephants, but it’d be easy to make me happy no matter what.
He promptly called his guide friends to find where the elephants were today.
Him: “I will ONLY be satisfied after finding an elephant for you.”
Me, repeatedly: “I promise it’s okay! I am so happy with what we saw.”
It didn’t look promising. Finally, we were at the exit gate. We’d seen most of the Big 5 and a bajillion zebras and giraffes, but no elephant.
I went to use the washroom before the 3-hour drive back to Kigali. I came out to find Diddy and another guide shouting and gesturing: “Elephant! BIG elephant!”
Indeed, it was.
Thank you, Diddy, for my elephant. I will remember it, and you, for the rest of my life. You were an excellent guide and gave me a perfect day.

That was a great experience! I decided to extend this activity to two days. The game drives with Zidane were excelent. Event during rainy season we managed to spot a lot of animals (including a number of elephants). I took also a boat ride which was a hit. I fully recommend Wild Hikes Rwanda, they are dedicated in 120% in what they are doing.

Thank you to Zidane and Hassan for taking us all to Akagera Park. Full day activity where we got to see lots of animals, nice journey there and back in the comfy safari jeep. Both we very knowledgable about the area and super helpful.
Due to such a great trip, we booked again for a cultural day to the Gorilla Guardians in the north and travelled over for a boat trip at Lake Kivu where we experienced hot springs and got to see more of the volcanoes.
Would highly recommend this tour company, especially Zidane and Hassan as they know Rwanda inside out! Thanks again guys!

Such an amazing experience! The safari guide was so personable and knowledgeable! I would definitely recommend! The guide really tried to help me find the animals I wanted to see!

Me and my family went to Rwanda whilst it unfortunately went into lockdown (covid), however, our tour guide Celine did her absolute best to still make it a most enjoyable holiday for us! We are very thankful for her effort and the good times. Can't wait to experience Rwanda again in its full glory, will definitely be contacting Wild Hikes Rwanda again.

What "entrance fees" are not included? Does the tour go into the actual park?
What is the cost of the entrance fee if it is not included in the tour fee?
