In terms of ambience, it is a very nice and diverse wine festival that has a lot to offer. However, if you are expecting cheap prices, you are wrong.

If you want to drink overpriced wines in cramped wine stalls and eat high-priced "canteen food" then this is the place for you. Everyone should avoid this "rip-off" establishment.

This was our first time going to the Weindorf Stuttgart and it exceeded our expectations by far! We were surprised by how many booths there were and how "homey" and permanent they looked. It was a nice atmosphere to stroll through the streets, smell many wonderful foods along the way, and try some delicious food and wine.

Das Stuttgarter Weindorf ist empfehlenswert!Aber vor Abzocke wird gewarnt. Wir haben 3 Viertel Wein bestellt, die Bedienung hat uns geraten doch gleich eine 3 Vietelliter Flasche zu nehmen. Bei der Rechnung stellte sich heraus das die Flasche fast doppelt so teuer war wie die drei Anfangs bestellten 3 Viertel. Eine dumme Abzocke die niemand braucht und dem Weindorfruf schadet!

Went here on a Friday night. Great location to walk around, people watch and enjoy some nice local wine and food.
We were a group of four and lucky to get a spot to sit and eat.

Checked it out on a Saturday night and it was mobbed. If you don't get there early (and with friends), you'll be stuck in lines. I'll be honest that I'm not really a big fan of white wines, but managed to find a number of reds that I enjoyed.
Went again on a weekday evening and it was less crowded. Course, that also meant the weird clown that was serving as street entertainment picked me out. Managed to stop by one of the booths for dinner, it's the booth that I posted the wine list, and tried a plate of their sausages. Something to sample, but it was a bit much didn't agree with me. In my photos were the booths that I did enjoy.

Der Pflichtbesuch auf dem Stuttgarter Weindorf steht bei uns seit Jahren im Terminkalender: 125 in schwäbisch-volkstümlicher Tradition geschmückte Weinlauben locken an 12 Tagen mit regionalen Köstlichkeiten und Weinen aus Württemberg und Baden.
Die Atmosphäre ist toll, das Essen meist gut – und viele der hiesigen Weine überzeugen nun auch kritische Juroren mit ihrer Qualität.
Es geht auf dem Stuttgarter Weindorf schon sehr eng zu; hier ist kein schöner Platz für Menschen mit Platzangst.
Die Preise sind teilweise etwas zu hoch für das Gebotene.
Die Atmosphäre ist toll, das Essen meist gut – und viele der hiesigen Weine überzeugen nun auch kritische Juroren mit ihrer Qualität.

Nette Atmosphäre. Es kann jedoch schön sehr voll werden. Dies kann dazu führen, dass es etwas schwierig wird Sitzplätze zu finden. Ein schönes Fest um den ein oder anderen Wein zu trinken und etwas zu essen. Die Preise sind teilweise etwas hoch.

What a blast. Lots of booths to taste local food and wine in the midst of stores and businesses. You can easily spend a few hours here and still not see it all. The fests are fun and free while walking around. Fests are a must experience while traveling in Germany.
