Whomever has been paid to organise the fireworks here needs putting in with that Glasgow Willy Wonka guy... £14 a ticket!! Scammers should be taking lessons from you.
Opened at 5.30pm and wasn't until we got in the 'arena' that we discovered a handful of food trucks and a stage with some pretty uninspiring 'entertainment'.
Considering it's a Sunday and this event should be for kids, why in the sweet hell fire of Satan would you make people wait until 8.30 pm to set off the fireworks. It was absolutely stupid. Had to leave before I tore my own eyes out. Suffice to say we didn't see the fireworks and won't be coming back to Haigh Hall for any events in the future. Very disappointing.

We walked around the outskirts of the park which was pretty peaceful. The signposting is not good in some parts so Googlemaps was useful here. Families did stick nearer to the visitor centre / play area naturally. Car parking was £3.50 over 1.5 hours.

The park itself is great there is loads to do and it’s a lovely place. However Graze cafe in the Courtyard is shocking! The food was overpriced and awful and the staff were possibly the rudest staff I have ever come across. They rolled their eyes at every order, spoke very very rudely and said loads of items weren’t available even though we could literally see them. Not one even neutral face they were all angry, didn’t get even a hello when I went to the counter three staff just stood and stared at me and then acted like I was horrible for ordering! They did the same to all my family and other customers. I understand sometimes it’s busy and that’s difficult but if you’re that desperately unhappy in your job find another one then quit!

My boys and I visited and we had a great laugh. The park is full of things to do and the play area is packed with climbing frames and obstacles.
The park itself is nice and the walled garden was a great place for a mammoth game of hide and seek.
The courtyard has some great cafes, bars and places for food. Special mention to Luisco for their amazing chocolates and sweets.
A great afternoon out.

Lovely park, however, food at Graze in the Park Food outlet very poor and overpriced, portion chips £4.00, were poor quality and lukewarm, should really have taken them back, but decided not to make a fuss so leafed them and not bother visiting next time at park.

Love this park, so much for kids to do, and get really active. Take a picnic with you.
My granddaughter always has a great time here. Check out the events that they have going on too at certain times.

We took a group of boys to the high ropes aged between 6 and 12 and they had an amazing time!
The youngest went on the low ropes course and the older ones on the high ropes and all had a brilliant experience.
The staff were very friendly and encouraging. They delayed the session to wait for the pouring rain to ease which it did thankfully. They added extra time onto the end and even helped us out with one of the bookings made for the incorrect time.
Would highly recommend, we will definitely return. Thank you!

Lovely park to visit for young children plenty of open space ,free play area slides climbing etc . Crazy golf area for reasonable cost. Dog friendly . Central courtyard with cafes ,street food ,artisan bakery ,ice cream shop etc . Be careful with price as the cafe we visited Graze ended up costing £18 just for two children the sausage roll ar £2.50 I felt was very reasonable however £6 for 6 mozzarella sticks expensive 4 chicken nuggets and small oven chips £5.50 fruit shoots were £2.50 . However there are plenty of areas to eat food you can bring in yourself . Small funfair area for young children very expensive at £2.50 a ride and £4 for hook a duck . Not meaning to sound tight but during the summer holidays it is ideal to take young children but in our case it ended up costing over £60 for two children that includes a visit to the whippy ice cream van which is obligatory with youngsters . Highly recommended just wanted to give people a heads up

We visited Haigh Hall today to have some lunch at Graze and play the adventure golf. We enjoyed both.
For lunch, we both had the pie, chips, gravy and mushy peas. There was a choice of pie. It was steak or meat and potato. We had meat and potato. It was delicious. We had a cup of tea and everything came to £20
The adventure golf was really good too. It cost us £11 on total, and there were 18 holes.

We absolutely love this place for a day out. It is brilliant for the whole family and there is something for everyone, even the dog can come an join in which is a winner as he is part of the clan, so a day out with him is a bonus.

Are dogs allowed in the Crazy Golf attraction? We want to come for a family day, including a walk around the grounds with our dog. But we're unsure if we'll be able to do the crazy golf too if we bring our dog with us.

What time does the food festival start? Is it all day?
Escrita el 30 de agosto de 2018
Foodie Fridays are from 6pm each month, and the Artisan Market is from 10am to 4pm. All advertised on the Haigh Woodlands Park Facebook site.

Yes they have small donkey rides within the park :) not sure if they’re on daily but imagine they will be over the summer holidays.

Are dogs allowed all around the park or restricted to limited places?
Escrita el 20 de marzo de 2018
Darren N is wrong. Dogs don't have to be on a lead at all times. They should be on a lead in the courtyard and are obviously not allowed in the kids play area. I take my dog up there most days 👍🏻🐶

Hi,
I went a year ago whilst refurb taking place and the queue for the car park was pretty stressful with children in the car. Has everyone who's been going recently been able to park with ease?
Many thanks
Escrita el 26 de agosto de 2017
We arrived mid morning and had to queue to get in. From what I could see repair work was being done to the entrance so when completed it might make accessability easier. What I did notice was we had to drive round car park to find a space but when we were leaving in the afternoon it looked as though they were using a field nearby as overspill car park. Once main car park is 75% full why not open the overspill to help congestion.
