Our captain, Anna, was an incredible guide and host! She gave us a lot of history of the island and Coral Bay, specifically. She took us to some great snorkeling spots, which weren’t accessible otherwise!

Polly and I(Bob) have visited St. John numerous times. I came for the first time in 1962. Polly and I came together for the first time in 2006.
Our half-day snorkle charter was the best afternoon of snorkling we've had in our entire lives! Variety of place and great variety of things to see. It was beyond our expectations. The people involved with Flyaway Charters are wonderful, charming, knowledgeable, helpful, and glad to share their client's joy.

Colon is the best! Super informative, knowledgeable and very thoughtful! My better half is not real fond of boats but Colon really set her at ease, so patient answering all her questions! He knows all the best places to snorkel and visit! We will definitely be back!

We took a charter to the BVIs with Flyaway during our vacation in late June. We were more than pleased with the company and loved our trip. We had 4 people, 2 kids, 2 adults. We visited JVD, Sandy Spit, Norman Island, the Indians, and snorkeled off of East End STJ. I can't recommend this company more - I did a lot of research, and Flyaway is perfect if you are staying in Coral Bay, as they leave from the Dingy Dock by Skinny's. In addition, they have all-in pricing, that doesn't have unknowns such as fuel, etc. We were with Colin and Anna, and they have lived on island for many years. They were super friendly and knowledgeable, and we were very comfortable hanging with them for 8 hours. Finally, Leah was super responsive and helpful - moving our trip due to a forecasted hurricane with no charge or anything. Overall, wouldn't hesitate to work with Flyaway on our next trip!

Leah and Captain Mike hosted an amazing boat day in St John. We did the full day “history” tour. We loved the history, awesome snorkeling, and great conversations with Mike and Lela. The kids appreciated Leah jumping in the water to show them the best snorkel spots. We were a group of 7 - two couples with 3 kids in their twenties. This was perfect for everyone. A wonderful way to experience the beauty of St John - yummy rum punch and a fun stop at Lime Out. Thank you to Leah and Captain Mike for making our boat day fun for all! We hope to see you again on a future trip.

FLYAWAY is amazing. We booked a 1/2 day charter (4 hours) with them during our trip. Their boats are real boats (not pontoons) so they have more range. Captain Anna was amazing and took us to several reefs around the island to explore and snorkle. Also hit a few spots that cant be reached by car or taxi. Her recommendations were awesome and we all had a terrific time. Highly recommend this crew. If you are doing research, compare prices and vessels when you book.

Leah and the team were incredible, we had Ben as our captain, and it was a great experience. loved booking a private charter- was customized to us and we maximized our time amazingly. Leah was amazing making sure we had a great weather day and answering/coordinating all my questions etc to make it the best trip possible. Dont hesitate, book with Fly Away!

Ben was amazing!
He was personable and very knowledgeable of history. Accommodated everything we wanted from this trip
Leah was very Responsive to our issues and concerns. Make sure you stop by the shore.

Flyaway Charters have a great thing going on down here. We’ve gone out with them multiple times, and it’s been a great experience every time. Friendly, professional, fun and knowledgeable about the best places for snorkeling and sightseeing from the water. I would definitely recommend them to anyone. We will be back next time we’re in St John!

Just amazing. Leah helped us find the perfect experience for us as we are not experienced at snorkeling. She was so accommodating and just great to work with. Our Captain Ann, was so patient and helpful. I can’t wait to come back and do the history tour with them!

I am wondering what spots in the USVI and BVI can be visited. We are coming on a cruise boat in November and had hoped to visit Soggy Dollar and Cooper Island. I'm also wondering if the snorkeling by The Indians is as good as it was in the past.

Soggy's was wiped out by the Hurricane. I do not see a way they will be back up by the time you arrive. While I do not have direct knowledge of Cooper island, I think the same thing might apply. As for The Indians, we went snorkeling there with Flyaway on our last trip this past summer and while it wasn't "as good as it was in the past" it was still pretty dang good. I know Flyaway has been posting on Facebook that they have a boat and are operational again so I would try to contact them directly at 340-514-9627 or 340-514-7403 as they would be better equipped to give you first-hand advice on what is possible.
