Good afternoon Mr Barker, sorry to hear you won't be returning. Unfortunately the more waste and rubbish that is left here that the staff have to clear up, the higher our waste bill is as we're charged by weight. This is the reason why we ask that all sellers please take their waste home with them and/or dispose of it at their local waste and recycling management centre. I don't feel that branding all staff nasty and thick is at all necessary no need for name calling, maybe next time an adult conversation would suffice rather than running off a nasty email online. If you wish to see me or the manager we are in the main office on site and we can have a discussion about any issues.

Good morning, we've only just managed to regain access of this page. We hope that you still come down and visit us. The site opens to sellers at 7.30 and other staff are guiding and directing traffic to the correct locations. Even with 1 person taking the money traffic will still back up hence the reason we don't send more traffic than can be dealt with at any one time. We hold the public back due to the amount of moving traffic as we have had people knocked over by vehicles in the past due to buyers looking at stalls rather than passing traffic. Once all sellers are on the main site and static we open the main gates to the public. We also hold back sellers at the end of the day for the same issue, if there is too many public on site we hold them from moving until it is safe to do so. N Horsecroft Deputy Manager

Glad you had a good experience with us, the market has taken quite a turn since COVID and also the online purchase trend. We are actively trying to bring the market back up as best we can but I think the glory days may unfortunately be a thing of the past, such a shame as it was a great market on a Sunday.
