My wife and I had a fantastic time with Tatan. He was incredibly easy to talk to and very knowledgeable. The ceviche was amazing, the wine was fantastic and the view from the apartment incredible. Would highly recommend this tour!

We had a wonderful private tour of Santiago with Alvaro. It was a mix of driving and walking and we were able to see historical sites as well as go to the top of San Cristobal. It was a great experience and I highly recommend it.

We had a great experience with Gabriel traveling from Santiago to Valparaiso and back, visiting wineries both ways. Gabriel picked out 6 interesting places to taste. Most of them were very small so we got to talk with owners and winemakers, and to taste incredible wines. The logistics were perfect and his information along the way was really interesting. It all was very professional- and a lot of fun.

Víctor arrived promptly, with a van, that included a professional driver Marlene. Even though it was a public holiday In Santiago, Víctor showed us all the areas promised. Marlene's credentials came in handy when visiting the Santa Lucia Hill area, allowing us to drive right to the top, avoiding the long trek crowded with holiday visitors.

Nacha and her father were the perfect tour guides and hosts for our very informative half day tour of Santiago. I wanted to experience a Barros Luco sandwich where it was inveted at Confiteria Torres on Alameda... they made it happen! We had a beautiful ride up San Cristobal, a delicious mote con huesillo, and saw the Bicentennial Park. We also walked around La Moneda. Nacha is quite knowledgeable of all things Chile and Santiago. You won't be disappointed having her take you on a tour! Muy simpaticos!

The trip was not exactly what I expected, but Alberto was fabulous and the conversations about the Chilean people and history were a wonderful insight to learning about Chile and her current and past history.

Alvaro gave us a great tour of Santiago. He talked about social, cultural and historical status in Chile and was very informative. He communicated very well since I made the booking. He designed the tour to suit our specific wishes He was also very flexible and changed the tour time for us because our flight was delayed. An excellent guide and we wish Alvaro all the best

Andres was our guide for a half-day tour of Santiago. We were so glad we had him to walk us through the interesting neighborhoods and the history of the city. Andres met us at the airport and transported us in a clean, large and comfortable car. He took us around to the major points of interest, tailoring the tour to our interests. He explained the history, culture and food of the city with depth of knowledge and wit. He even helped us to meet up with an old friend. We would recommend him highly.

Roberto was the perfect guide for our two days in Santiago. Knowledgeable and friendly, he engineered a tour that was really suited to our interests and pace. We took advantage of a car that he provided both days, that really allowed us to see more in the time we had. One day in the city and another driving to the sea to see Valparaíso and Vina del Mar. His recommendation for food were exceptional throughout. Most importantly, he's a great conversationalist with a great energy. Highest recommendation!

Juan Carlos was an excellent tour guide. He took the time to show us around Santiago a bit before traveling to Valparaiso. He is very knowledgeable about Santiago, Viña del Mar, and Valparaiso. He took us to a very good winery on the way. His van was clean and comfortable. I would highly recommend him and I'm sure any of his tours would be excellent!

We are interested in obtaining a guide for a half day city tour of Santiago with a combination of tasty cuisine, the markets interesting shops (no malls), intro to Chilean culture/people. We do not wish to spend significant time inside buildings but take in the fresh air and hospitality of Santiago. We have already booked a day tour to Valpo and Vina on 1/10. We wish to do a city tour on 1/11, Saturday and prefer late morning departure. Thanks Kevin and Alma Boland

Hello Kevin! If you hop onto the ToursByLocals website and search for Santiago and your January 11 date, you'll see all the private tour options available. I'd share the direct link here, but TripAdvisor doesn't allow links to be shared in responses. If you send a message to a guide, he or she will be happy to customize the tour to include exactly what you're interested in, and none of what you're not, starting late in the morning.
