I don't understand how you can not know about events at your own resort and it's right on the map!! Asked 4 people and they told me they have never heard of it before very concerning as we are trusting them to guide you to where your going so you don't get lost

Great guides took our small group up to Beaver Lake. Be prepared with trecking poles and hiking shoes or the guides will help equip you. Rain gear and water are always recommended for mountain hikes. Great explanation of the territory, history, flora and fauna on the way. This is a hike with some challenge but truly worth it. The ending at Beano's with mountain greens, cheese, local honey and gougeres was superb.

The Hiking Center at Beaver Creek has the best information about trails, conditions (it was snowy spring) what is good for kids young and old. We wanted to do Holy Cross as our first 14er and got great information about easier first 14ers to do. They even have guides available on a 24 hour notice for hikes within an 80mile radius. they can pick you up and do all the driving, tell you great history about the area you are hiking in, what flowers are blooming, what animals are near by etc. If you like to hike or are new to it, this is the place for information!

Stopping by the Hiking Center was a good idea to do before wandering around the area if you haven't been there before. My brother and I knew we wanted to go hiking, but was having a hard time searching for a list of trail-heads and where they were located near the area. (We tend to travel without doing a lot of planning) We followed the Five-Sense Trail which was fun and educational. This would be a good one to do with children. They can read the little placards along the trail and touch, smell, and hear the sounds of nature. Pretty cool. I wouldn't consider this one a real hike, but rather a nice path for a mid-morning stroll. You can continue on to the Beaver Lake Trail which is much more strenuous but worth the view at the end. I have a review posted for that one as well if you're interested. Happy hiking!

This is the center for all hiking and biking and jeep touring for Beaver Creek. You can get a lift ticket there and/or advice on which trail to take - they have guided tours or you can wander on the trails on your own. They have walking poles, rain gear - pretty much anything you forgot.

This was my families first time hiking ever. We found a very nice lady at the travel area and she told us all about beaver lake trail and the 5 senses trail. Wonderful and fun. I would highly recommend this center.

This service has it all! the guides are great, personable, knowledgeable, and very experienced! Weather can be a concern and yet they prepare you with any equipment you forgot to bring! Short one hour to the highly recommended all day up one of Colorado's 14,000 foot peaks. From beginners to skilled hikers they have something available for all. Take advantage of the daily free hike for a little taste of what the guide will do.

We really enjoyed our hike with Nick and Pam, assisting, to Allie's Cabin & back. We were a mom and 2 teens who were ready for a little hiking adventure and they delivered, teaching us how to use hiking poles as well. We completed a nice loop and learned so much along the way about the flora and fauna- great information that kept us interested and energized. Thank you all for entertaining us & educating all of us on a wonderful hike on the wildflower filled mountain in Beaver Creek.
