Use Sasquatch Shuttle’s parking lot and hop-on/hop-off service so you don’t have to fight for parking! This stop has access to Latourell Falls. It’s a mile to get to the upper falls but it’s worth it if you want to literally stand under or behind a waterfall!

Parking was pretty full when we were there, had to wait for someone to leave to grab their spot. The top of the fall was an easy hike however we ended up going the long way around the loop and ourselves and another couple had a difficult time navigating which turn to take to what we thought the bottom of the falls were.
We should have done our research to figure out how easy it was to get to and was not necessary to take the long hike we did. I would recommend this on your list of area waterfalls to see.

Wir sind in den Guy Talbot State Park vor allem wegen der Wasserfälle gekommen, die wirklich sehenswert sind. Auf dem Weg dorthin gibt es einige weitere Wasserfälle, dei man sich entgehen lassen sollte

We, the family of Guy Webster Talbot wishes everyone to visit the park. It is by far the most people friendly and beautifully laid out park. The park is quite secluded as many don't even know it's there. Find time in your tour of the Columbia River Gorge to see where the family spent their summers..

This is not as crowded as Multnomah Falls and you should put it on your radar to visit. Short hike and great photo opportunities. Parking could be a bit challenging.

This park gives visitors an opportunity to explore its natural beauty via jungle trails. So just take a slow hike up the trails and explore nature at your own pace. A proper pair of walking shoes is recommended.

I went to LatourellFalls yesterday to see the falls and hike around the area. Right in the parking area for the Falls was the sign for Guy Talbot State Park. Funny, I thought this was Latourell falls? I could see that there was restroom facility and a few picnic tables and that was about it. rather small, I thought. Everything else here is about Latourell Falls.
I walked up to the first observation point above the parking area. Then continued up the trail to a nice side view of the falls along the trail that leads up to Upper Latourell Falls. And then loops back down to the scenic highway just before the bridge.
On the north side of the road is a paved path that goes down and into-- a large park. This park is called GUY W. Talbot State Park. HUH? I found that it had found a picnic park with a picnic shelter, various picnic tables scattered all about the area. And a few houses across the road down there just north of the park. I was the only person there in the park. Would be a great place for a large picnic and some good old frisbee tossing. This park is so secluded.
And the houses you ask? It is the tiny, tiny town of Latourell.
From this secluded park below the scenic highway you can follow a footpath that will lead you under the Columbia River scenic highway bridge and straight to the bottom of Latourell falls and up to the parking lot. It is this foot path that connects to the parks.I bet most people don't discover the lower picnic park hidden from view-- nearby--just to the north.
So there is an upper park nearer to the falls and a lower park down slope to the north. If you have the time and enjoy walking, it is worth checking out. Or even having a large family picnic with a nice waterfall nearby.

Great place to head to if you want to get out of the city. The area is beautiful and the drives are spectacular. The bathrooms were extremely dirty and that was the only negative.

We went to Guy Talbot State Park Its a great place to have a picnic. It is next to Latourell Falls on the Columbia River Gorge Historic Highway 30 route. Since it was a beautiful day, lots of people were having picnics and hiking.
