Cracking friendly little shop.

Really nice shop. Visited twice during our holiday - first time to buy some new waterproof walking trousers for my wife and the second time to pick up some Trangia stove accessories, plus a collapsible wood fired stove. Both times the staff were very friendly and helpful. Prices were competitive with online prices which was a pleasant surprise for somewhere small and remote and I much prefer the personal touch of buying from a person rather than online, however convenient the latter can be at times. Very impressed with my experience with this gem of a shop and won't hesitate to visit again in the future if we find ourselves in this part of Scotland again, which is likely.

The owner (manager?) could do to listen politely to customers and take on their feedback about products. I returned a very poor quality bike pump that did not pump tyres up effectively. I cannot remember the last time that a perfectly courteous complaint was met with such patronising rudeness. I will never visit this shop again and now that the owner has dismissed my concerns, I will take my issue up with the manufacturer.

No dogs allowed ???

Very strange shop. We travel all over UK In our motorhome and particularity like to visit outdoor shops in Aviemore, Fort William and Keswick and always dog friendly, only to find the only outdoor shop in Britain, that doesn't allow dogs is in Killin ???. Thankfully we're heading to Aviemore next, so keeping money in the wallet till there.

Family Kayak rental

Hired a kayak for 3 of us from the shop this week ( 13 Oct ) the staff were really friendly and helpful and it was great value for money. I would definitely recommend this shop.

Great kayak rental and service

Fab service and great kayak rental. We stopped in here to rent two kayaks for a couple of hours. Was all so easy with a great pre briefing and all the equipment we needed. Paddling along Loch Tay meant we got a wonderful view of the area and wildlife… especially the rainbows! Thank you guys for a great holiday adventure!

Went to the shop with the view to buy a goretex coat for me and some socks etc for the wife. But didn’t even get through the doorway. I’m amazed as all outdoor shops allow dogs back in England.
All I can think is business must be good here in kilin.

Hired canoes from here, great service, great price, friendly service. Highly recommend for anyone in the area. We phoned at short notice and they managed to accommodate us

First time kayaking with the wife,had an excellent time.well worth the money,we booked for 2hrs with a 2 person kayak.We booked with Will and he’s a cool guy very easy to deal with and answered a lot of our questions to put us at ease.I would highly recommend

Great wee shop, lovely people and brilliant range of products at good prices. Picked up a pair of very comfy walking socks and had some great chat. Would recommend.
