Great wildlife display museum. Easily the most animals I have ever seen displayed in a museum. Including many deer species I have never heard of before. Great for all ages.

Really cool! We got there at 4:30pm, the museum closed at 5:00pm. The staff let us tour anyway. A lot of really cool animals.

This is a smaller museum of taxidermy animals from around the world. It is set up into exhibits by region. The animals are very lifelike. There is a self guided audio tour you can use but we did not. It is a fun place to visit but took us only an hour to see. AAA discount saved us well on entrance.

This is a fun place to check out if you have some time to kill, and the cost isn't bad. It's not huge, but plan to spend about 1-2 hours there. If you don't do the self guided tour and listen to the audio then there's not much else to it besides walking around and viewing the displays. It's great to have the opportunity to see some of these animals that do not live in our area. My only gripe is that it's not a very welcoming atmosphere (nor are the employees) when you walk in but that didn't affect me enjoying my visit. If your time is limited and you are looking for activities that are specific to St. George and it's history then I would suggest skipping it, otherwise, it's worth going to.

The taxidermy is done in such a way that you can see the animals as they may have been in the wild.
Plan to go see it again sometime soon with our grandsons.

Stopped here on our way from Las Vegas to Zion National Park. We did not do the museum, but were here for local information. Lot's of maps and information about the area . Staff was very helpful and energetic about the area. Worth a stop in if in the area.

I called to find out if masks were required and if social distancing was in place since their website said nothing about Covid. I was met with major attitude and she just kept giving me their business hours. When I explained that I was looking for mask and social distancing info, her attitude got worse. This company does not care that there is a pandemic going on. Very disappointing. Don’t give them your business.

I went because I love wildlife and thought it would be a chance to learn something new. If you enjoy taxidermy and hunting, this place is for you. It is interesting but seems to be for wealthy hunters that support a conservation message "to kill endangered species, pay a fee for it and spend a small amount of their time, supposedly to educate people will change the planet. OK, so if these wealthy hunters are limited and paying, perhaps, 10 million for their experience, maybe something will be gained." Maybe... The philosophy is short-sighted. I did learn from the experience by seeing what exists and what is being lost because so many are in denial about making changes for the good of all.

Three generations of family enjoyed our trip here. The animals are displayed very well. A really wide variety. Good price.

I was in town for a day (getting my car fixed) and stumbled across this museum.
It is a shrine to hunting and hunters. Now, I don't have a problem with this. I have hunted in the past (just birds). I live in San Diego where you can see these same animals Live ... and maybe I have been 'conditioned' , living in S. California ...
It was a shock to see this, not horrified or disgusted, just mouth open surprise that a museum like this exists ;)

It is very well done. Great displays and very friendly staff. And a very very large space. Many detailed displays of stuffed animals from all over the world and of the hunters who belong to an outfit/club/organization I had no idea existed. It was an educational experience for me.
