So much beauty. Not sure what part of it we were in, but it is all around the outskirts of St George and is gorgeous. Take your time, get out and walk. Make sure to bring your phone for pictures. Gorgeous.

Loved, loved, loved this place. Drive thru park with lots of stopping areas. Get out and walk the trails, or ride a bike, and/or camp. Climb the rocks to catch a view. Go thru park catch one view then turn around to see another view...well worth the $15.00. Bring water, snacks and lunch and wear either hiking or tennis shoes. Very unlevel ground but sights from car just as spectacular.

An enormous area to explore right next to the city. The parking near the trailhead is not extensive (just a few spots) and not easy to find without the GPS. Bring plenty of water, as always.

2 hikes in 1. First see the dinosaur prints. This is a very short hike past the campers...do it while you have energy. Great views, flowers, and of course pre-historic prints. What more could you want? Except there's a lot more! Retrace your steps. Use the restrooms while you have the chance! Then follow the trail into the canyon. It's so beautiful! Towering red cliffs. A stream, if you are lucky. It might be dry. But still, the stream bed with trees and growth, looking very cool when it's hot out. Shade is so nice! Hike back to the falls. They might be dry. Try and go right after a rain. You can hike up to the cave and look for Indian petroglyphs. We couldn't find them, but it was cool. This place is awesome. Get a picture! One of the most amazing views ever looking thru the canyon going and coming.

I absolutely loved this place. I only wish I had had more time to explore it. I used to live in St. George when I was around 8 years old and then we moved away. This was my first real trip back since then and I was amazed at how much things had changed. I was always fascinated by the Native American culture, even at such a young age, but I had not idea that there was so much of it left to see. I only had time to take a short hike here, but I did it with my cousin's husband who once worked as a tour guide for a local company. He knew just where to go and what to see in such a short time. We saw a ton of petroglyphs, many of which he told me were a bit off the beaten path and not many of the people who visit the area even know are there. As I said, I only wish I had much more time to explore.

How do you summarize 45,000 acres of ever-changing terrain? Climbing sandstone boulders; hiking sagebrush mesas; navigating creekside and waterfalls; or strolling through patches of succulents. No matter where you are in Utah, you're likely near a trailhead that is part of this Conservation Area.

This place is 15 miles north of st george. They have red rock trails. The trails lead to small waterfall. Easy trails, but some interesting stuff like ropes along wall to climb. Great for kids. Don't believe what you read, no swimming here. If you are just staying in st george, this place is worth going too.

I'm tempted to give this place a terrible review. This in the hope that crowds will stay away from this wonderful place. Huge area to explore. Can be a bit more than hiking if one explores some of the more remote areas.

Hiked Red Reef trail. Great weather. Trail is perfect condition. Nice waterfall and running stream. Easy access from I-15 and paved roads to trailheads.

We are passing through from Zion National Park. We stopped at this park on our way back to Las Vegas. This park was a pleasant surprise. The hiking trails are beautiful and well maintained. The grounds, bathrooms etc are super clean and well-taken care of. The entrance staff was super friendly and welcoming. We highly recommend stopping here.
