A great park - some plaques describing different things, some sculptures and a few benches. The paths are well placed and kept clean. The scenery of the area and watching the ferry is beautiful.

Its a busy spot nice benches a places to walk your dog only on the cement walks but thats okay If you want to feel like your doing something when your really not go down to the landing and watch them fish off the peir.,Thier is always something to see there

Great for couples, families with young children...actually anyone. This is a short section of quiet sandy beach, between the Ferry and some restaurants with a bulkhead, a sidewalk, a section of grass and some benches. Just enough to relax and walk a bit, play in the sand, watch the ferry, sit and read or view the sunset. One fun part is the brass sculptures...all life size...distributed along the walkway. There are sea lions in one place and people in another. There are a few sea creatures like limpets here and there along the seawall. Kids love it.
At the ferry end (north) is a path winding among landscaping with native plants and rocks. The south end, which you access between the restaurants, through their parking lots, leads to a long fishing pier. We saw harbor seals in the water about half the time we visited.
You could visit while waiting for the ferry or before or after dinner/lunch nearby.

We killed a little time here before a fishing trip. We all really enjoyed the views and people watching here. There were fishermen all up and down the pier, divers exploring the "underwater playground", and lots of people just strolling for the fun of it.

Beach itself is nothing special, but there are lots of interesting things to see at Brackett's Landing. The main striking feature is the Edmonds - Kingston Ferry, which you can watch load and unload several times a day. The fishing pier is also interesting, an there are lots of birds and marine life to observe. Great sunset views from the fishing pier.

Lovely walking path and great vistas of the water and the ferries!
Walk from the ferry dock to the dog park and return along the marine. Restaurants are found along the way as well as the longer fishing dock.

This sandy park is a great place to watch the ferry come and go from the Edmonds ferry terminal. There is a cement pathway that extends southward to fishing pier and, at low tide, you can skirt around some private property and continue to Marina Park.
The size of the beach varies with the tide. At high tide and on a stormy day the waves come crashing over the breakwater spewing salty foam onto the walkway - and you if you are not careful. At low tide and on mild to warm days the beach attracts sunbathers and kids, young and old, with their sand toys. A few adventurous swimmers and more cautious waders enjoy the sandy footing underneath the usually calm water.
There are restrooms nearby and a place to wash the sand off your feet.

Not only is the beach itself a great place to spend a sunny afternoon or watch a beautiful sunset, there is so much more. The Visitors Center, which is open from Memorial Day to Labor Day, has a Touch Tank with many critters and plants collected from right off this beach. Great for children and adults alike. The Edmonds Beach Rangers work out of this center and are on the beach and the Fishing Pier to answer questions. There are also restaurants, coffee shops and the Kingston ferry at the north end of the beach. So much to see, so much to do!

This park is beautiful and great at low tide. It's seldom crowded. Close proximity to ferry viewing on / off loading, kids love. Lots of good tide scouting if low tide under ferry dock. If tides high, hardly any place to play. Beautiful sculptures add to the experience.
