This was a fun place to visit and explore. My family enjoyed it also. I am the least brave person in my family, and I wasn’t too scared. My husband said it was better than he anticipated and that he enjoyed it more than last Halloween’s Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios. It was raining, so we were unable to enjoy the garden. The train was also being worked on, so we were unable to try it out.

Awesome little find that the kids had a blast with! Not too scary for the younger ones...almost not scary enough for the older ones. Loved the onsite little train ride and the backyard fun after the house.

This be honest, it's not worth the $20 admission fee, compared to the $12 daytime fee. There are maybe half a dozen of people in the haunted Mansion who will not say Boo, but rather widen their eyes at you and follow you. Majority of the Garden portion is closed off due to not being Summer anymore. The gift shop has less selection of choice. Better off going during the day.

We liked it so much that we did it twice. Really a great activity to do with teenagers. Screams, laughter and memorably terrifying memories!!!!

This was a fun stop with our kids. It is a little pricey, but you can go through as many times as you would like. It is a very large house so it takes a while to walk through all the spooky rooms. At the end there are a few arcade games that the kids loved. There is also a garden to explore and a train ride if you choose.

Great little stop, fun place to go. We enjoyed it as a family. It’s friendly for all ages. Really had a good time, highly recommend stop in.

Seemed pricey but totally worth it. It's truly a haunted mansion, not just a house. It's huge! You can go through it as many times as you want. The first time, my youngest (7 yrs) was too afraid so I had to carry her while she covered her eyes. At the end, she felt like she missed out, so we went back twice. The last time, she laughed all the way through. The gardens are lovely and there are fun family activities, like a shooting range, small farm area with animals and a train. Highly recommended.

Oh wow, it is so much fun! So worth the money. Go!!!!!! You won’t regret it. I did the daytime one, but I will be back to do the nighttime one.

My 8 y.o. enjoyed it a lot. The 4 y.o. was somewhat scared, but wanted to go back immediately after she was taken out. The experiences are intense and of wide variety. I liked the paintings and optical illusions, and I especially like the cellar that look like a whole haunted town.
The ticket allows you to come back as many times that day as you want, which is useful with kids. There are also gardens with a playground, number of fountains, some animals (chicken, sheep), and a train ride. As an adult, I liked the mansion the most, but kids liked everything! Strongly recommend.

I have epilepsy, my boyfriend told me that there are lots of flashing lights and strobe lights so we shouldn't go. Is that true or is he just making that up so he doesn't have to go?

Although your boyfriend may in fact be terrified by the idea of taking you through the Haunted Mansion, he is probably correct. Strobes are used minimally through the Mansion, not directed at the guests but there none the less. We use them to simulate lighting, electrical shock and to accentuate a scare or two. They are used in short bursts, but as I understand even short burst can trigger an epileptic episode. Unfortunately your boyfriend will have to find another way to terrify you :(

Yes. Only on certain dates in October do they open, but when they do they have actors who are in full costume and character that will surprise you throughout the mansion.
