There is no doubt that this is a lovely villa with a magnificent view over Vlycha Bay. Svetlana looked after us brilliantly and the air con is the best I've experienced. Vlycha Bay also surpassed our expectations (we've always stayed in Lindos before). The four of us in our party had a great fortnight and did lots on this amazing island. So, all-in-all, we had a wonderful holiday so what's the but? It's about value for money. Even accepting the fact that villas on Greek islands are more expensive than villas in some other parts of Europe, this was expensive for what it was. The bedrooms and bathrooms are very small indeed, we had constant problems with availability of hot water and, amongst other things, became irritated that the pool was too cold to swim in (it got colder as the fortnight progressed) - I know that it's the norm for many villa pools not to be heated but at this price I expected a pool that we could use rather than just something pretty to look at.
Based upon the price and the photographs on the web site (how do they get photographs to make places look bigger than they are), we thought we were booking our 'villa of a life-time', but sadly not.
If you have the budget and a view is top of your wish list, then this may well be for you. Having said that, the Sunset villas below not only appear in all of my camera shots from the villa, they also make a bit of a nonsense of the effects of the infinity pool
