Dirty and outdated AVOID!!
This place was so dirty we had to clean it ourselves before our stay. Light bulbs broken, Outdated decor overall not worth the money. Owners dog just roams free and comes into property although there rules are all dogs must be on a lead. RUINED OUR BREAK!!

Lovely cottage
The cottage was a perfect size for our family and the kids loved having the "dormitory" style bedroom with ensuite! We had the extra treat of the hot tub and was lovely sitting in it in the peaceful setting on the farm, looking out at the horses and rabbits in the field! The location is perfect for a trip to Alton Towers and then we went to a family wedding in Dovedale on Sat evening. On Sunday morning, we enjoyed have more of an explore of Dovedale at the Stepping Stones another short drive away. Thanks for a lovely stay-I've already recommended it to others!

Family break
Great place friendly people the photos of the cottage doesn't do it justice. Facilities were good the place was clean first time I've done a holiday like this so I have nothing to compare it to hence only 4 out of 5.

Lovely cottage

Lovely stay
We booked along with another family and this cottage was perfect for us. Linda and David were very friendly and helpful. It is also a lovely base for Alton Towers. Was made even better with the added option of a hot tub too! Would recommend.

Lovely location
Prior to booking I had a number of questions regarding guests and dogs that I wanted to bring along, Linda responded to them all very quickly which was really helpful. We stayed for a week, we loved our time at the cottage and so did the dogs, it had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay, beautiful surroundings with lots of lovely places to visit close by, we will definitely be returning for another holiday in the future.

Family Christmas get together
A really spacious and well equipped, dog friendly cottage.
Although our stay was brief it was Ideal for three families. The kitchen was equipped well enough to produce a full Christmas dinner. The cottage was clean and cosy throughout.
Highly recommended.

Good site with excellent facilities
First experience with this type of accommodation. Good site for self catering.Nice location with excellent facilities and services. We visited Dovedale, Pavilion gardens and Poole cavern.
