We loved our little cabin. It was so cosy. It had everything we needed and more. I didn't expect to have coffee and sugar and I saw it the day we were leaving. We even got fresh farm milk which made me really happy. Thank you! It was perfect place to go somewhere and spend the night after the most beautiful walks around the area. it's not 5 star hotel but it's beautiful and feels very homely I wish we had time to stay longer but we are definitely planing on coming back.

Excellent!
Great place and lovely hosts. The barn feels isolated, but the pub is within walking distance. The wood burner kept us very warm.

Great scenic getaway
Brilliant little barn, had a great stay with 5 mates. We visited the barn to get away for the weekend and there is no better place! The views are amazing! Loved the log burner which kept us nice and warm - would recommend getting extra wood. Beds were really comfy and spacious for 5 adults. Great walks around up to Thor’s cave and also to pubs in Wetton and in Hulme end. Will definitely stay again!

Cosy and homely barn
I stayed here with family for a night during mid March and we had a lovely time in this comfortable, cosy barn. It’s a very homely barn, we loved the fire, it provided a refuge from the snow outside!

Wills Barn
A group of 6 of us stayed here whilst celebrating a friends 30th. Great location - walking distance from a number of surrounding villages (and pubs). We were grateful of the heaters, which were kindly turned on before we arrived. The log burner kept us all warm and the comfy and clean beds ensured we all had a decent sleep. Already looking forward to booking again next year!

Very nice barn , small and Cosy ,it's clean , sheets are clean, matttresses are good ,sofa bed (we all know not good to sleep on )veiws are amazing .definitely go again and recommend this place

Second stay at wills barn
Stayed here the weekend of storm Brian and we all thouerly enjoyed our two night stay snug as a bug we were as the wind howls around us and the rain batterd at the door would love to stay again .need more cupboard space or a shelving rack .doest really matter its still a wonderful retreat

Lovely but only slept four
A lovely barn in a gorgeous location. Really enjoyed sitting outside in the evenings with the fire pit going. Be aware that the owners do charge five pounds for a bag of logs, which don't last long especially in the evenings when it does get cold. The local pub was cosy and everyone was very friendly there.
A few days before we arrived we received an email telling us the double sofa bed was damaged and they had supplied two camp beds instead. Unfortunately when we arrived these beds turned out to be totally inadequate, and we're not fit for anyone other than small children, As a result my eleven year old son had to share my bed for the four nights we were there, not very comfortable.
As a result I would not recommend this barn for a party over four people, but overall a nice place.

Thanks for your feed back. Apologies for the bed situation. The fold out beds were sold to us as suitable for adults but we will be replacing them ASAP with something more suitable. As for the logs these don't have to be purchased from us, but the large bags we supply are larger than ones sold at garages and supermarkets. We are glad you enjoyed your overall experience at the barn and hope you can visit again in the future.

Unique experience in fantastic surroundings
We were thrilled by the description and reviews of this barn and booked it as first stop for our two-week trip around Middle and North of England.
The barn's location is indeed unique, the kids loved it at once. Sitting outside in the evening sun on the beer bench was one of the great experiences during our trip.
We found the concept of the barn great - you sleep in dopplestock beds all in one room, you have an oven to do the heating and the cooking etc.
Unfortunately, we found the barn not particularly cleaned. There were leftovers of trash in several places and hair around the beddings, sink and bathroom. Bearing that in mind, the price - performance didn't feel quite right, thus only three points in this review.

Apologies for the barn not being cleaned to our normal standard of cleaning; we were away on holiday immediately before your arrival and had left a cleaner to look after the barn. Charming little barn in an idyllic setting.
We truly enjoyed our stay at Wills Barn. The description of the property was completely accurate and our kids really loved the bunk beds and wood burning stove. The owners of the property were lovely and even brought down extra firewood for us as it was really cold!
