The apartment was lovely frank the agent was very helpful.
The restaurants in the square are ok but if you go down the side streets they are alot better.

A Lovely place in Historic Chinon
This apartment was everything you could ask for in a vacation rental. It is located on the most Historical street in Chinon. It is extremely comfortable and well appointed. The kitchen has everything you would need for the gourmet chef. Francois the manager is wonderful. He speaks perfect English and met us to acquaint us with the apartment. He also made dinner reservations for us. This is a large apartment and would be great for families. I would highly recommend Chinon, Franciois and this accommodation. Of note: there are stairs to enter and some different levels in the apartment which would be difficult for those less able.

Fantastic Accommodation
The accommodation is superb. Brilliantly located - made our stay in Chinon very special. Francois was extremely helpful. Exceeded our expectations.

Look no further you've found the best
Our apartment was very well located just steps from the town square. Francois was extremely welcoming and kind, even offered to pick us up at the train station. My number one priority when traveling is a clean apartment and this one was immaculate. The kitchen was better equipped than my own at home. Even the bathroom had everything you could imagine. We had a washer in the apartment which was a plus so we could wash our dirty cycling clothes. I would highly recommend this apartment.

Historic building within walking distance to restaurants and site
The clock tower of Fortress of Chinon can be seen from the living room window. Francois is the manager and very helpful. I parked at Quai Pasteur for free in March but it would have been easy enough to park above the fortress and take the lift down. This unit had great appliances and a drying rack was provided. If you need an electric dryer there is a laundromat Salon Lavoir 40 Quai Charles VII with commercial dryers. There is an induction stove with cookware. Market day is Thursday and there is a Carrefour across from the Marie and a Super U at 11 Avenue Saint Lazare a short distance away across the bridge. 3 bakeries within a few minutes walk. The heating keeps the flat warm – there was what appeared to be a cooling unit which we did not use in March. The flat has a TV which we did not require as well as two single futons in addition to the double bed.

Fantastic location, beautifully appointed
My husband, 4 yo son and I stayed in this apartment for 7 nights in September 2016 and we would very highly recommend it. Be aware that, in order to reach it, you need to climb a circular, stone staircase so you need a small amount of fitness (and/or children old enough cope with stairs like this). But, aside from that very minor issue, it really was lovely. The master bedroom was very large and a loft area near the living room contained 2 futons that could be made into beds. The kitchen was superb and had everything we needed to cook a couple of meals. But the apartment is located within only 1 minutes' walk to the square which is full of bars and restaurants so you may not cook very often ! We also walked to the weekly markets and the numerous nearby shops. We had a car so made use of the free carpark a couple of minutes' walk away.

Great location and value
Beautiful apartment located right in the historic centre close to restaurants. A great base to explore the area with free car park close. I really enjoyed my stay here. Couldn't ask for more and great value.

Excellent
A lovely apartment with great facilities, loads of space. Beautifully decorated and excellent facilities couldn't want for anything. Even cooked one night as the kitchen was so well equipped!!
Great location and some free car parks nearby.
