We booked a 2 week family holiday at Casa La Concha which was our first summer holiday since covid so we were all really looking forward to it. However, the villa was extremely disappointing for the amount of money we paid. When we arrived, we were met by a cleaner instead of the agent. The cleaner could not speak any English and so couldn’t explain what we needed to know about where things were in the villa etc and we couldn’t ask any questions because she did not understand. We all had a look around the villa and were shocked at how dirty a lot of the furnishings were. The villa is old and tired and in need of some care and updating. The couches were dirty, the TV didn’t work -some of the kids wanted to play on their Xbox and couldn’t. We contacted the agent who advised that a technician would be out to look at it and also explained that the previous tenants had reported it, yet nothing had been done about it. After a week we were told that the owner had agreed to buy a new tv. The agent brought the new tv to the villa but couldn’t connect it to sky/cable. We were told someone would come to look at this for us but no one ever came. The loungers by the pool were dirty, the seating around the pool area looked like it might burst if you sat on it, tiles were cracked and loose, lighting was hanging from an outside wall with wiring exposed, the burners on the bbq were rusted through, plug sockets inside the villa didn’t work, lights within the villa didn’t work, furniture within the bedrooms was stained and dirty. On the plus side the view is beautiful and the villa is in a good location, which is why it gets 2 stars, but it’s definitely not worth the money and we will not be returning. We wouldn’t recommend this villa.
