It was absolute pleasure to have the opportunity to stay on Ragamuffin. The experience was great! Fantastic food, conversation and experience! Very friendly cats made the experience exceptional! If you want to get real, have a real good time, you can't go wrong with Jo and Lorn! I have stayed many times and always enjoyed my stay!

I had the pleasure of staying with Jo and Loren during my visit to the Virgin Islands. It was truly the highlight of my vacation! Both were so warm, welcoming and hospitable. I felt right at home and was thankful to have met lifelong friends. The boat was clean and comfortable and the food was delicious. Jo and Loren gave me helpful tips, including where to find sea turtles at the beach, and I really enjoyed learning about the culture and history of the area. I can't wait to go back!

Very disappointed with my entire experience on the boat. There were tools in the drawers where we were suppose to stow our stuff. Everything was so dirty. The toilet was not working so we were ask to use the owners bathroom which was Beyond filthy. No place to sit and eat the table was covered with tools,cat food and other items. Lorean spoke to us like we were children not 50 year old women. We felt uncomfortable for our entire stay. The last time he yelled at us we packed our bags and found another place to stay, The ragamuffin is not rentable should not even be allowed to advertise. The conditions on the boat were unsanitary and uninhabitable. I truly hope trip advisor removes their rental post.

RENTERS BEWARE!! Not just unsatisfactory but downright disgusting! False/deceptive advertising and very misleading– the boat was in no condition to be hosting guests and was nowhere ready to be rented. Boat was under maintenance from the moment we stepped onboard (of which the hosts told us about in detail specifically regarding lavatory and engine problems). The dinghy that was supposedly fixed just a few days before we arrived, had trouble getting us to/from Honeymoon Beach multiple times. Excessive filth - there was an unnecessary accumulation of greasy tools, dust, animal vomit, all which indicate unsanitary living conditions. Boat was dirty and very untidy, with a dirty refrigerator and disgusting coffee pot. Odors from toilet “issue” inside which could be detected outside/up top of the boat which was also a health nuisance issue. IF you want someone to give you a curfew of 8pm on your vacation that you paid for (yes, I said 8pm curfew), to be cursed at by a belligerent host, to be startled out of your sleep being told to “get up” at 7:05am due to a leaking hatch when it started to rain AND having no place to sit and eat a meal other than with a wood tray that has never been cleaned – then Ragamuffin is for you!

I can’t say enough about jo and Loren. They really look after you. The boat is perfectly located and they handed me a cold beer and grilled when we arrived. Honestly the experience is everything if your debating booking JUST DO IT!!!!! You won’t regret it

Thank you Jo and Loren for sharing your home and hospitality - Caribbean style! From the moment of coming aboard to departure, you will be hosted with courtesy and character. I couldn't have asked for more. A friend and I spent one night aboard the Ragamuffin and enjoyed a beautiful sunset with drinks, food and conversation. They are long time Caribbean denizens that offer their local knowledge of many surrounding islands. After dinner we had drinks and shared stories for a few hours until they retired and left us to enjoy the beautiful views of Charlotte Amalie under the gorgeous Caribbean night sky. Next day, breakfast is served then its a short dinghy ride to Honeymoon beach for snorkeling and basking in the sun. After a few hours its back on the dinghy to get back aboard for lunch and then we departed after a few jumps off the bow. Raga and Muffin were adorable and a purrfect addition to the stay! Quarters are clean and spacious for a sailboat. Drinks are as strong as you want and food is tasty. Attitudes were friendly and conversations were very enjoyable. I would highly recommend this charter for a very unique type of B&B experience. Thank you Jo and Loren for a great time and memories that Laura and I will not soon forget!

Our daughters surprised us for our 50th Wedding Anniversary while my husband and I were living in St Thomas by reserving 3 nights on this beautiful yacht. We were so busy working at the time and were not planning anything for our 50th until we had the time. Our girls called us and said pack your clothes because you have 3 days paid for on this yacht. When we arrived we were greeted by Loren and Jo and from the very start, we were friends. We relaxed, were taxied to wherever we wanted to go, and taken to Honeymoon Beach...absolutely beautiful. Snorkeling and fun, plus good food were just part of this special time. Loren and Jo were the perfect host and hostess and we will always be good friends. It was an amazing way to spend our 50th. We can recommend this to anyone.
