We had a wonderful experience at SeaGrape. The property was spacious with spectacular views. Lots of animals around the properties…. Chickens, goats, and lizards. The resident cat is adorable. All in all, ot was an amazing trip!

Booking process & pre arrival communication was great. House manager Paul was friendly & helpful. Easy drive to St Johns best beaches. We would love to stay here again.

We had the best time at this beautiful property. It was a little scary to get to at first but after the second day it became a little easier. The most unbelievable views. I think our only complaint was that the dishwasher wasn’t working while we were there and neither were the pool lights-my daughter was pretty disappointed bc she was excited to night swim in the “cool lights”. Overall it was a great place for our family and we made memories we will never forget!

Definitely some pros and cons with this villa - there are others on St. John that offer nicer accommodations for the same price. Pros: - the property manager Paul was super nice, and his lovely cat Sebastian was a welcome occasional visitor. He was always ready with a recommendation for the area, and genuinely seemed to care that we had a nice time. - the location is amazing - we love Coral Bay and this had easy access to all our favorites - the pool is fantastic - if you’re ok cooking at home, the gas stove was a welcome sight - the setup of the home with two main bedroom/bath combos is really nice - the view and the breeze are top notch Cons: - the dishwasher was broken our entire stay. Paul made a valiant effort to fix it, but at a certain point a 30 to 50 year old appliance just needs to be replaced - apparently the AC units aren’t functioning properly either - instructions are to not turn below 74 or they’ll freeze. We weren’t sure if this is accurate or if the owner was just trying to keep the energy bill low, regardless we have not seen this in any other villa on St. John. - we were not aware that there was someone living in the lower level of the home. Not an issue for us, but it’s definitely less private than other villas we’ve stayed at - the place is old and tired and needs a refresh. You can’t read the dials on the toaster oven, the kitchen utensils are starting to break and get worn, the sofa is in rough shape and was full of pistachio shells, etc. - there are no functioning locks on two of the sliding doors! Like, the locks are just gone. So, security is an issue. - There are some sort of bug that I’m not familiar with that have colonized the wooden railings, and they swarm out at night and are drawn to light. We couldn’t sit on the porch after dark because they were constantly hitting us and crawling on us. Overall, if improvements were made, it would be worth the price. At the moment, there are better villa options out there.

Beautiful property with sweeping views of the bay and a wonderful sea breeze. Paul was an outstanding and welcoming host with lots of tips for local sights, eats, and activities. Our toddler loved the pool and the house was nicely equipped for young children. Would definitely return again.

Our family had an amazing time here for our spring break week!! The views exceeded our expectations and we loved having our own pool to come home to after spending the morning at one of the amazing nearby beaches. Paul was fantastic about getting back to us quickly and giving us advice and tips about the island. We would love to return one day!!

The views are exceptional and location of this rental made it great to fully explore St. John. The house was clean and had everything we needed to cook and relax. We will likely stay here again on future visits to the island.

Views were incredible, nice breeze to keep us cool, beaches were amazing, snorkeling was great, the house was perfect. The drive out there and up the driveway is not not for the faint of heart, but it was worth it. Loved being in the quiet coral bay side of the island, but there are less amenities over there. Paul, the house manager was very helpful and attentive. Would definitely recommend seagrape hill!
