Fred and Catherine were extremely hospitable and welcoming. Their home is charming and comfortable. The breakfast was delightful. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would surely stay at Mission House on a return to Gagetown. Thank you Fred and Catherine.

Two of us stayed a night at this wonderful B&B as part of a cycling trip down the St. John River. We didn't know Gagetown, the village, and were blown away by how picturesque it is, sitting high on the bank of a tributary of the St. John. The house, terrace and garden of this equally picturesque house fit right in to the spirit of the village. The house is well renovated, looked after and decorated by Kathleen and Fred, an extremely friendly and able host couple; Kathleen a great cook and efficient manager, Fred the consummate veteran of the hospitality business. We were warmly welcomed with a cheese and fruit plate and brochures of what to do in the area, including recommendations for dinner. Being bike friendly, our cycles were housed safely out of sight and out of any possible rain. Our rooms were tastefully decorated and the beds comfortable, making for a good sleep. Breakfast was the piece de résistance; a fruit plate to start with, followed by French toast, covered in NB maple syrup, accompanied by home made chutney and jam. A great way to start the day and to fuel a cycle to Fredericton.

A nicely renovated old (1860s) home with all that you need to be comfortable and feel pampered. Fred and Kathleen made sure we we lacked nothing, felt free to come and go as we pleased and fed us with delicious, local food. We have just discovered another great reason to visit the historic Village of Gagetown.

This was our first stop on the way to a two week visit to Nova Scotia. We couldn't have asked for a nicer place to rest after a long drive. The highlight of the visit however, was meeting the owners and hosts. We had a lovely and personalized evening tour of this unique and beautiful town. I hope to return next year. The room was very comfortable and the breakfast was delicious. I am still enjoying the incredible homemade chutney and salsa. Both my husband and I highly recommend this B&B

My husband and I stayed there for one night, and we were treated like family. Warm welcome with refreshments such as cheese,crackers and home made chutney and bottled water. Bed was comfy, quiet and private. We loved all the antiques. Breakfast was lovely, come hungry! Fred and Kathleen know the area very well. We will defiantly be staying there in the future.

During our fifteen years of travelling to and from Newfoundland, we have stayed in many many B&B's.The Mission House completely covers the bill in that which makes a place stand out over others.It is situated in a delightful town to begin with.The house itself is lovely and all other aspects of our stay were exceptional.I wish I could have brought the bed home with me.One of the most comfortable I have ever slept in.Annie the dog, the garden and the produce harvested and preserved were bonuses.

This is a lovely B&B that we thoroughly enjoyed. The owners Kathleen and Fred were very friendly and welcoming. The house is nicely decorated and there is plenty of comfortable seating in the living room. The garden is breathtaking. Our room was not huge but quite nice and comfortable and well appointed. There is a private bathroom that can be shared with the other bedroom. However since the owners have a policy to only rent out one bedroom unless two couples are traveling together, the bathroom is private. Breakfast was excellent: fresh fruit and Spanish omelette and freshly made muffins. We were given extra muffins to bring in the car. We were greeted by a delightful little dog at the door and in the morning. She was very well behaved. We will definitely go back to this lovely B&B again.
