Lovely relaxing stay
My friend and I spent two days at the lovely Villa Cabernet. It is part of a resort, set high on a hill, very close to many wineries and the Hunter Valley Gardens. It was a very relaxing and comfortable stay. 2 large bedrooms, both with ensuites. I had the one with the bath which was nice to sink into after travelling around all day. King bed was very comfy. It has a fully equipped kitchen with coffee machine. Lounge is very comfortable and has Foxtel and a dvd. We didn't need to use the fireplace but it looked great. Nice outlook from the deck to the mountains, saw a few wallabies wandering around. There is no internet included but I have enough on my phone so no issue there.

Clean and quiet
Lovely clean and quiet accommodation with views over the bush towards the mountains. Bed was comfortable, air conditioning worked well on what was a hot weekend. Few small inconveniences such as no hand wash for basins, no hand towel for downstairs toilet and kitchen flick mixer tap was loose. Overall though very comfortable.

Beautiful property set in a picturesque location. Absolutely outstanding customer service from Hunter Valley Stays, I will definitely book with them again.

Tidy, clean, central location
Beds were very comfortable, great central location, and HV Stays staff made the whole process easy and efficient to book.

Lovely Townhouse with a beautiful outlook
We loved our stay in the Hunter Valley. The lovely terrace had everything we needed for our stay and was a great oasis. The terrace is located within a golf course with a lovely outlook. You may even see a kangaroo or two. The accommodation had 2 nice bedrooms with ensuites and the beds were comfy. The fireplace created a nice ambience and there are card and board games to play. For those who have not been to Polkobin before, everything is quite far away and therefore you will either need a designated driver or rely on uber and cabs. There is a nice restaurant ( mid range) on site if not wanting to venture far, however there are so many amazing food and wines in the Hunter Valley I would recommend venturing to one of the amazing Wineries nearby for lunch at least and definitely go on a wine tour. There is no food delivery services in the area and we arrived quite late at our accommodation so would recommend stocking up in nearby Cessnock with food for your stay. There is a well equipped kitchen and coffee pod machine. We arrived in the dark and found the accommodation a little hard to find in the pitch black and would therefore recommend arriving in the day to orientate yourself. We love the Hunter Valley and would definitely stay here again on our next trip.
