Everything from renting this property to communications to the weekend itself was seamless. The property was absolutely breathtaking and super easy to find. A perfect spot for a weekend get away from the craziness of the world. The lake was clean and lovely to swim in!

We were thoroughly impressed with the amenities -- fully-equipped kitchen, boardgames, kayaks, dog toys. There was never dull moment! The patios were beautifully designed with accented red chairs, giving you multiple options on where to lounge. We spent most of our time on the dock appreciating the view of the lake. It was a bit chilly during our stay and a hot tub would have been the perfect touch, but cozying next to the wood-burning fireplace or campfire was also satisfying. Overall, the cottage was well-maintained and clean. The host was only a quick text message away if we ever had any questions. There was no wifi, which made for the perfect getaway for our family to enjoy each other's company. We hope to back again next year!

The property was absolutely beautiful and had everything we needed plus more for an amazing couple of days by the water! Christine was super accommodating and responsive, we cannot wait to book our next stay here for next summer!! Not only did we love it but our dogs did too! :)

Hemlock point is a perfect cottage for a relaxing holiday. It has all the amenities one would want at a cottage. It is scenic, has wonderful decks and docks, great for swimming, kayaking or napping in one of the two hammocks. The kitchen is well stocked even for adventurous cooks. The screened in area is a great addition to keep the bugs away while enjoying the stunning view of the lake. Chandos Lake has many loons and they frequently popped up just off of our dock. Shantilly’s is a short boat/car ride away where you can buy some basic supplies and Kawartha Dairy Ice Cream. ( generous scoops) Would definitely book this again! Our host gave us all the details needed for checking in and out and was quick to respond to emails.

Loved our week stay at Hemlock Point cottage. So much attention to the outdoor living space to enjoy the beautiful setting. Magical campfires under stunning starry skies, lazy days sitting on the dock, or relaxing in hammocks. Hope to go back soon!
