We have been on several vacations before, but always with extended family. This time it was just the 4 of us and Elliot's condo at the Park Shore was just what we needed for accommodations. It is just as described, if not better than the pictures. There was plenty of room (our boys are ages 3 and almost 6), the location was nice (quiet but not too far from main roads, shopping, restaurants, and of course beaches!), the staff is great, and we appreciated all the amenities of the condo. First off, booking and working with Elliot was easy and a pleasure. He is super responsive, meticulous, and kind. He returns emails promptly and makes sure everything is set before arrival. When he says let him know of any questions/concerns, he really means it and will follow up. For example, when I asked about sand toys he generously offered for us to purchase ones our boys would enjoy and reimbursed us for the cost. Secondly, the condo is clean and comfortable and really has a lovely view. There are plenty of kitchen items (although we picnicked or ate out often), beach items (2 adult beach chairs, 2 kid beach chairs, noodles, umbrellas, coolers, etc.), nice tvs, and it was so great to have a washer/dryer (less laundry to do at home!). We heard very little noise from neighbors or the action outside of the unit. The property itself looks a bit old on the outside, but the lobby is well-kept and actually very tasteful inside and the walkways/decks/grilling area/pool were a bonus! Although we were out most of the days enjoying the sights of Naples, it was nice for our older son to go to the pool while little brother napped (great crowd of families). Lastly, I really liked the location. Although you need a car to get around, nothing felt too far away. There is a Publix (everything you need, plus lots of organic) and Walgreens right down the street, tons of local and chain restaurants (be sure to get Sushi or Thai from Komoon), a short drive to 2 BEAUTFUL amazing beaches (Clam Pass and our favorite Lowdermilk), close enough to 5th Ave. South, and easy drives to the Botanical Gardens (great for little ones), Marco Island (sailing with Off the Hook Adventures is SO worth it), and airport. We would definitely book with Elliot and Park Shore again, AND bring extended family to stay in his other units. If you want a nice, low-key, nothing fancy or stuffy, beach+activities, relaxing, comfortable kind of family vacation...book it for Naples at the Park Shore!
