The pluses…….One of the most beautiful destinations I have ever been to! The view overlooking the pool and the side of the mountain, down to the Ocean, takes your breath away. This is the largest “Open Concept” home I have ever seen. We only closed the sliding doors that extended the entire front of the home, when we were gone or at night. The living room and TV’s we never used (we were there a week). The rough edge granite dining room table was gorgeous! Most of the time we were at the patio table on the covered porch, playing games. The pool was beautiful, we were in it every day, Plenty of pool toys and lounge chairs. The owners are very conscientious of having a clean house and grounds. The kitchen was well stocked with most things you might need to cook. It was wonderful to have four bedrooms, two up and two down, each having their own full bathrooms. The minuses…….The roads are rough!! Going to the “Villa Amour” is down hill, single lane, on the side of a mountain. Any time you leave the Villa you are taking this road. (Don’t forget you are driving on the left side of the road). The kitchen needs an update, many of the dishes and cups have chips. The pans are black. Most important the oven doesn’t shut tight. The Bedrooms need to be updated. My bathroom towels had a large bleach mark on it. The supplies in the bathroom were great, shampoo, cream rinse, hair dryers and even nail polish remover! The curtains didn’t close well, the two recliners in the Master were very outdated. They just need some Updating. Overall……..The most beautiful SUNRISES on the Island! I miss taking my coffee and sitting poolside watching the sun come up. Would I return?? Probably not, the road in and out is quite a challenge, even with a Jeep! (I’m also over 70]

First of all, Rick and Steven were the most gracious hosts. I was there with a group of friends and we all enjoyed swimming in the beautifully appointed pool, soaking in the hot tub, and having breakfast on the lanai with its exquisite view of the ocean. The dining and lounge areas are tastefully decorated with art in a variety of media. The glass art is breathtakingly lovely, especially the chandelier that changes colors. The flora surrounding the villa is stunning in both beauty and variety. Listening to the tree frogs at night was a treat, also. Sitting at the pool at night we looked at the constellations in awe and appreciated having no traffic noises to detract from it. Their location is close to beaches and to charter boats via car. Villa Amour is a magical place. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone looking for the ultimate Caribbean getaway.

Staying at Villa Amour was a dream come true vacation for our family, all 9 of us. The Villa is so well maintained, gardens, the Lanai, open air view was just breathtaking! Infinity pool was enjoyed every day! (wall glass sliders do close when you want to on the Lenai) We stayed up late, listening to the Coqui Frogs, enjoyed tradewinds, some rain, spectacular views. Woke up early to enjoy the gorgeous mornings, tropical sounds, coffee on the Lenai was a perfect way to start the day and a glass of wine to end it at night, our fav place.This home had everything, each room had our own bathrooms/showers, A/C in rooms.The views from all around are spectacular! owner Rick and Stephen are very hospitable and answered our every question, when we asked, gave us great tips on where to shop, eat etc.We did enjoy cooking in this nice kitchen too! I will say a 4 wheel drive is the best for the road up to the Villa, a fun adventure, picturesque along the way. A 7 min ride to the secluded beach below was just too good to be true! Our grandchildren enjoyed the lizards, crabs, a fun hike for them there when we were at this private beach. Our pics are out of this world! We have traveled and this is by far the best vacation, we all fit in Villa Amour so comfortably. Thank you Rick and Stephen, true paradise..we hope to return one day! .

This remote villa had the most amazing view from the moment we walked in. And walking down the staircase from the upstairs bedrooms every morning was breathtaking to say the least. The road getting there on the other hand definitely made even us from West Virginia a little nervous, so definitely rent a jeep like we did. The place is roomy, open, with an awesome infinity pool, a great hot tub, and a private beach area that made our trip nothing less than epic! We definitely recommend!!

The home is beyond beautiful- the views are beyond amazing!! The owners Rick and Stephen make it even better!! It is truly paradise! The beach, pool, hot tub, views- then add your friends it’s indescribable!!!

The stay here was absolutely amazing. Beyond perfect for our family vacation. It all started with the owner, Rick, very accommodating and very knowledgeable about the island and activities. The house is beautiful and very well maintained and the view from the pool every day is absolutely gorgeous! I would highly recommend this property to anyone!!!

Villa Amour has the most beautiful secluded location with breathtaking views. The rooms are a nice size. The kitchen has all the necessary utensils. The terrace is great for relaxing as it is quite large. From the villa it is only a short drive down to a secluded non-touristy beach.

Our stay at beautiful Villa Amour was fabulous! The breathtaking views, the gorgeous villa and the hospitality of The owners made our vacation exceed our wildest expectations. Even after two hurricanes hit the island the lush vegetation, beautiful beaches and excellent restaurants made our stay feel like a visit to paradise. The hardest thing was leaving! The Villa has a layout that accommodated our group of 7 easily and allowed both privacy and plenty of areas for playing games and laughing with each other. We loved the beautiful artwork in the house and the gorgeous orchids and breathtaking views from the infinity pool. We hope to return and enjoy paradise again!!

Villa Amour was a dream vacation. The road in was an adventure worth the destination. The view was breathtaking. The villa was everything promised and more. The beach at the end of the road was probably the best part of our vacation. Secluded, clean, beautiful water. You could walk the entire beach and not see another person. A perfect place to just enjoy the beauty of the island. The only negative feature was not having air conditioning on the first floor of the house.

Great home with private pool, hot tub and views to wake up to every day. We had 8 people and the 4 bedroom suites with own bath plus a half bath was great! The glass doorway opening up to a covered sitting area then to the infinity pool & hot tub was breath-taking. We have been many places, but this was the most beautiful views of all--like a rain forest. Also, we walked to basically a private beach below.
