It's the little things that matter... This owner pays attention to detail. Even the toilet paper is top notch. In the kitchen, they even had a whisk and a wine opener. Plenty of towels and blankets, a beautiful cabin on a great property. Lake Vermillion is one of the largest lakes in Minnesota and this Lodge is on a great piece of land. In this area, the cabins are stacked one on top of the other - not this one. From the main cabin/Lodge, you really can't see another building. This point looks directly North which affords a great opportunity to see the Northern Lights. It projects into the lake enough that I got some great sunrise pictures in late September. The owner and caretakers were responsive when we had an issue that was out of their control. Highly recommended - just not when I want it. :)

We enjoyed our second visit to Westhaven Lodge. We loved the sauna and the fires by the beach. Would recommend this property.

We had a wonderful stay at Westhaven Lodge and we also rented the cabin. There were 23 of us and was not crowded at all. Very clean and cozy. Bonnie ( one of the caretakers) happened to be there when we got there and she was so friendly and showed us all around. She is special. We caught a lot of fish which was a bonus for us. Would recommend the lodge to anyone looking for a place for a large group. Rodger was very good about answering our questions by e-mail promptly. A great place to stay!!

We loved Westhaven Lodge; lots of space for our large family+ 2 dogs. Especially loved wide pier, that allowed us to hang out there, after a swim. Met all our expectations; really hope to return soon!

Weather was not the greatest but still made the most of it! North winds got us a couple of times, but the place was amazing for 4 families with teenagers to all hang out.

We really enjoyed our stay. Our group of 9 was very comfortable with room to spare. The lot is fantastic with plenty of room to spread out. Very convenient if you are bringing a boat, the public landing is a mile away and short boat ride to property. We would recommend to anyone!

The lodge was excellent! We had a wonderful time. The view could not be beat, and the location was great!

As usual the accommodations were perfect in every way. Plenty of room for our party of twelve. Our party has a few good cooks who loved the big kitchen. To top it off we caught some big walleyes and perch. Thanks again Rodger
