Being so close to down town St Charles was a great experience. Also close to my family. I am familiar with the area so I didn’t have any problems with the directions. The house was so nice and the kitchen was better equipped than mine! So many little things were provided! I was very impressed! The only down side was we found that one side of the house was much cooler than the other. But those of us that prefer the cooler temperatures slept on that side.

The whole house has a number of really thoughtful touches and is well-appointed with everything we could need. You walk in and feel really confident that everything has been thought of, and the location is great -- we went shopping on Main Street just about every day. We did have an issue with a circuit breaker but Dylan responded right away, and all in all we look forward to coming back.

We enjoyed our stay very much. As other guest have mentioned, the location can’t be much better. You’re within walking distance of Main Street and only a few minutes from restaurants and shopping. It’s also an easy 25 minute drive to downtown St Louis to take in a game or tour the brewery. The house was VERY clean and has everything you’d expect and probably more. While it’s obvious the owner has taken pride in updating the house, I can only imagine the challenges of trying to do so with a house this old. There is a noticeable slope to the floor in the living areas and back door entry. Also, the bathroom off the kitchen needs to have the tubs controls replaced or worked on, but it didn’t keep us from being able to use it. That being said, I don’t want this review to be viewed negatively. The house was a great host to our family and provided plenty of room for the five of us and our local family members to get together for the holiday. We had all the amenities we needed and no “real” issues with our stay. The overall rating is 4 stars. David

We came for our annual girls/moms weekend. First trip to Saint Charles and this place helped us fall in love!! It was so close to everything and had so much space for us to enjoy and relax. Everything was comfortable, clean, and was so much more charming in person than it even looked online! The pool was beautiful and a great way to stay cool! We had a few minor questions and communication was quick and seamless! We will be back!!!

The house was the perfect place for our 3 families to stay. We each got our own bathroom and own space. The pool was perfect for adults to relax in as well as our two boys under two. The raised area in the pool allowed them to play while in the water.

We had such an amazing time here. The pool was great. The location is amazing. Easy walk to all the bars and restaurants on Main St. The host was friendly and available to help when we had questions about the area. There were no issues with the house at all!

We had 2 kids (4, 7) and 4 adults. The pool was WELL used by us and the location was about a 5 min walk to historic main street in St. Charles. That translated into about 1 min drive (or less). Perfect location! Pool was only about 4 ft deep, which, with young kids, was perfect. We had PLENTY of room and lots of fun.

We could not have been happier! I was looking for a place for me and several friends to celebrate my 40th and this was perfect. The rooms and living areas are very large and the kitchen was plenty big to accommodate all of us. The layout was everything for a group like ours. Each room having an adjacent bathroom and no rooms sharing walls was fantastic. The pool, though small, was exactly what we needed in 95° weather! Everything was clean and stocked and there were plenty of amenities from snacks, to coffee, to shampoo! A comically short Uber ride to all the bars and restaurants (it was the weekday so no trolley and too hot to walk!) We’re already planning when to return! Genuinely cannot say enough good things!
