We stayed at this lovely cabin while competing at Tryon National Equestrian Center. We have stayed other places while competing, but this one is most convenient to the Equestrian Center - don't even have to get on the highway to get there! The cabin is comfortable, cozy and private, inside a nice gated community. The cabin has everything you need for a relaxing, enjoyable stay!!

The cabin was very charming and well appointed and decorated. There were several problems though. First the lip of the top stair fell off as I was going down the stairs upon our arrival. That was scary as I almost fell down the whole flight of steps. There was no hot water the first night as, apparently, the water heater had broken. The television in the living room was the old fashioned kind of about 15 yrs ago and not easy to figure out how to work. Also, There was nothing written about their wifi or a password for it. There was a tremendous amount of dust on the ceiling fan on the upstairs bedroom and the bedding seemed old, a bit "used" and raggedy. Also, all the remotes to the TV's in the house didn't work as the batteries were almost dead. However, when I called the owner and reported to him all the above, he was very apologetic and came over the next morning and fixed what he could. Once I accepted what was fixable and what wasn't we really enjoyed our stay. We did ask for a discount for our stay for all the inconveniences but the owners wife rudely told us "we were lucky the owner lived so close by so he could come over and fix things"! She also said that she had "never been called or texted so many times by a guest". Needless to say she really turned me off and certainly took the wrong tact in making us feel good. I expect when you're paying people they check that their home is in good working order. They did give us a $100 off on our next stay. Anyhow, in spite of all that, we did enjoy our stay and always felt very safe. But they MUST update that living room TV!

We really enjoyed our week stay at this cabin. We have never stayed at a cabin in NC that is within a gated community, however, my son and myself did some hiking near Chimney Rock on a couple of days and my wife felt very safe being in the cabin alone. The cabin was very, very clean, water pressure in the bathrooms excellent, always hot water available, washer/dryer, dishwasher, kitchen pots/pans, wifi, AC, TV in every room, available space in dressers in which to place our clothes, curtains on windows, beautifully decorated, beautiful outside deck, quiet area, and a beautiful river and park right across the street!!!! And the owner was very quick to address any concerns we had which was deeply appreciated! It will be an enjoyable family vacation we always remember!!!!

The Riverdance cabin is in a beautiful and scenic location inside a gated woodland community which we really like. We loved spending time on the deck enjoying sounds of the river and the beauty of the nature park across the road. We can see why they call it Riverdance! The cabin owners have done an amazing job decorating and equipping the cabin. The living room is very nicely furnished and the kitchen has everything you need, including a dishwasher, microwave, and Keurig coffee pot. We didn’t use it, but there is a washing machine and dryer if needed. The beds are very comfortable and the linens are and towels are first class. There was nothing about this place we did not love and we will definitely rent it again in the future.
