Perfect French village house.

Lovely french town house3 miles from one of the best and largest beaches on the south coast. Marseillan is a wonderful french town that still manages to feel not too touristy. The house had plenty of space. The large roof terrace which ran off the (excellent) kitchen was brilliant. We have stayed in several other similar house where the kitchen and roof terrace were on different floors which makes it much less user friendly. The house house comes with a garage which was great for storing our car top box, French car parks have very low ceilings. Four bikes and a table tennis table are also provided. the table tennis table was a big hit with our teenage sons. we only used the bikes a couple of times but were nice to have available.

Séjour parfait

Jolie maison de village rénovée au cœur de Marseillan. Au RDC grand garage avec table de ping-pong. Au premier, salon et grande cuisine très bien aménagée et équipée. Une grande terrasse bien exposée où nous avons même pu déjeuner le veille de Noël. Au deuxième étage, 2 chambres + salle de bains. Literie très confortable. Excellent contact avec les propriétaires par mail.

Another fab week

I can only repeat my previous comments- a fantastic house,extremely high quality finishing etc and of course the most amazing roof terrace.lovely little town to stay in,friendly people,great restaurants- would highly recommend

Third time fantastic

This is our third trip to Marsellian staying at the Fleur De Lys. We absolutely love it. The house, the village and everything. The new kitchen and bathroom are fab upgrades and the sun terrace is a great place to relax being a complete sun trap. Mairi and Ron are great hosts and we'll continue to return year on year.

Séjour très agréable dans la maison de ville proche des commodités. Terrasse extérieure spacieuse...propreté et confort irréprochable, en bref: top!

amazing house

This is a beautiful house right in the centre of Marseillan( no noise though- so peaceful)It is by far the best rental property that we have stayed in- everything is top quality, beautiful bedding, great kitchen. The roof terrace has to be its crowning glory- absolutely gorgeous with an amazing undercover area .Marseillan itself is beautiful, great restaurants- our favourite being Le Boulevard- there was no need to hire a car but next time we will- to visit the surrounding area. Communication with the owners was second to none and we hope to return next year!

Great weeks stay in the Sun

Excellent weeks stay. Weather was good (20c) . The Gite was excellent. Very clean and tidy and well organised with everything available including washing machine, dishwasher and bikes. Lots of useful information left and lots of ideas for days out. Being in the center of the old town we where 5 mins walk to shops and bar and 10 mins walk to restaurants at the port (all excellent). Only 20 mins drive from Beziers airport and lots of car hire there.

Wonderful holiday

This was our 3rd holiday at Fleur de Lys and yet again we have had a fabulous time. The house is comfortable, clean & well equipped. We especially liked the covered terrace, a real bonus during the hottest part of the day. Fleur de Lys is well situated & only about a 10 minute walk to the port with all its restaurants & bars. We had a problem with the key(we lost it) Mairi sorted the problem really quickly, for which we were very grateful. Marseillan is a great place for a relaxing & enjoyable holiday.

Fantastic village house

This is the 3rd time we have stayed here and again we had a fantastic week. The location in the village is ideal and the house is a perfect place to return to after after a day exploring or chilling out in the village. We particularly liked the new terrace, the increased size is a great addition to the house.

Amazing first trip to France

We had an amazing time staying here, the home is full of character and has everything you need for a comfortable relaxing stay The sun terrace was fantastic for relaxing days in the sun, we ate outside all the time as the weather was great however the indoor dining space is ideal when it's cooler. The kitchen has everything you need, a home from home You're so close to the town and port, we didn't hire a car & you really don't need one if you're happy to relax and use the local stores etc and wander to the port. We will be returning next year for a week this time as 4 days is not long enough ! Owner communication was great and the recommendations on where to go and what to drink where an added bonus
