Food was decent, service was good. But property is not well maintained. Water problems, hardly 1 bulb in the room and not the cleanest surroundings.

The property is Old Bungalow renovated recently. The home exudes positive energy. You step out of the home and you are welcomed with scenic views of the valley and forested hills. There's a music show that happens once every morning and evenings, only that the performance is by exotic birds. You can soak in the freshness and pure air 24/7. The morning walk through the plantation to the river was adventurous and the river wading was fun. Babu and his wife are extremely caring and always checking with us if we needed something and they do it with a genuine smile. Food is homemade and just what the doctor ordered, nothing fancy. Just simple tasty food.

We stayed at this Heritage Country Home located in a lush green Coffee Plantation. The place is full of natural beauty and great views. The Trek through the plantation to the River is a must do activity, natural springs, picking wild oranges, in the company of exotic birds and bird songs ends at the river where we can play in the water to our heart's fill. Mr. Babu served us delicious food and was always there checking with us if we wanted anything all the time. The staff made us feel privileged with their service and courtesy. We visited Bhagamandala, Talakaveri, Chelavara Falls and Tadiyandamol which are located at about a hours drive from the home. Thank you so much for making our stay memorable and fun. We booked this place with lots of hesitation as it is a new property. But am glad I stayed there. The property is at a slightly elevated part of the plantation which offers nice view of the landscape. The Tadiyandamol peak on the Brahmagiri mountain forms the backdrop at a distance and it's just a green canopy of the forest and plantations. The trek to the River Cauvery was through plantation and takes about 15 minutes. We learnt picking ripe coffee beans at the Coffee Plantation tour. We also picked some native Oranges that tasted really good. The Accommodation is more than comfortable, the antique furniture adds to the warmth and has the Old world charm. There is still scope for adding to the room interiors, may be some nice frames and artifacts which I was later told is being done. We are thankful to the cook who prepared delicious meals and snacks on both the days. My suggestion to the cook was to add more variety for the Breakfast. Overall, it was a very pleasant and comfortable stay accompanied by bird songs, pure air, good food and sweet hosts. Thank you and all the best. Warm regards Laxmi

EXTREMELY HAPPY WE FOUND THIS PLACE! This is one place which will remain etched in my mind forever. Starting from the path leading up to this beautiful homestay is simply great. This place is right in between a well maintained dense coffee estate, the smell of the coffee, a small lake and the wonderful people around :) If u need a big break from the city hustle then this is the right place. As a personal experience this will remain one of the most memorable and my favorite homestay I've visited so far. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by the caretaker and his wife. Such lovely people. They were extremely friendly. This is a new property and is yet to be more organized. We planned this trip just for a night but i must say we extended our trip for another day because of the hospitality and the place. We just relaxed on our first day. The caretakers wife took us around the estate and she was fun to talk to. They arranged for the camp fire on both the nights and were up till we slept. The second day we visited the Chelluvara falls which took us about an hour to reach just because of the bad road conditions. Also visited Madikeri which is about 15 kms. The warm gesture by the end of the day was amazing. The service, ambience, food and hospitality can all be given 5 stars without a doubt. The property owner (Mr. Prabhakar) was really kind enough to check on us every now and then. The host (Pavan) was very helpful in getting us what we need and made sure everything was calm around. P.S - the atmosphere is so special that it really felt like home to me. All respect and best wishes to Prabhakar and his team, who does a great job here.
